Look for stories of other people who have successfully achieved goals similar to your own, then compare your approaches. You might need to be more realistic or gain the proper information you need to succeed.

Being selfless is an important part of personal development. Knowing how to care for others, and make sacrifices inside yourself, can boost your inner character. Inner growth is increased by sacrificing your own comfort and turning your focus to the needs of others, while maintaining your core values.
